Peavine falls 2013

Compared to last year this years race was a big deal. Lots more people volunteers aid and water options. I really enjoyed it. Got to log some miles. The best part was I ran my run and did not let the people around me drive my pace.

July 1st

The year is flying by. We have Peavine falls run this week. I don't know if I am looking forward to it or scared of it. I guess we will see what happens on Thursday!!

Barbarian is in the books.

Great time with great friends. Was not looking forward to it but now can not wait till next year!!

Universal Studios vacation

We all agree that this was one of the best vacations we have had. We got a lot done but still had a lot of down time and rest time. It was great family time and I am very thankful that we had it. A great recharge of my batteries that were over depleted. Now time to get back to running LOL

Universal Studios 2013

Today we celebrate Ally's 12th Birthday. We have had a blast at Universal the last two days and look forward to going to a different part of the park tomorrow. We got et the first day but the lines were short. Today was dry but crowded. In true Brasher style we made it back to the room each day for some down time and Spongebob. LOL.

Summer Running

Ok so it is hot and running is getting difficult. I still managed to put down my 20 for this week but really need and want to pick up the mileage. Today was very tough. But I know if I can push through the summer the fall will be that much better for me. Next week will get messed up run wise But looking forward to spending some awesome time with Amie and Ally. Hopefully give my body a little more time to heal up feet and knees still dealing me fits. Hopefully I will update from our fun at Universal.
